Quality assurance assistant • Gonzales County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Gonzales County, Texas. You will work at a food processing unit. On a typical shift you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols 3+ years on the tools preferred.
