Crane operator • Fairfield County, Ohio

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Fairfield County, Ohio. You will work at a landfill site. The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 2+ years on the tools preferred.
