MIG welder — Cherokee County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
