Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Owerri Municipal, Imo State. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings.
