Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Lea County, New Mexico. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On the job you will handle: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines 3+ years on the tools preferred.
