Immediate opening: plant operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Ellis County, Texas. The job is at a stone quarry. Day to day you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; check for underground cables and services before digging; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
