Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Walsall, England. On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 5+ years on the tools preferred.
