Stitching operator — Peoria County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Peoria County, Illinois. The job is at a busy garment factory. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
