Gardener — Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gardener in Macon County, Alabama. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules The role involves check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds.
