Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Merced County, California. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
