Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Cavalier County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cavalier County, North Dakota. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Full-time with occasional weekends.
