Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Knox County, Texas. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
