Glazing assistant wanted in Chowan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Chowan County, North Carolina. The job is at a glass and aluminium factory. The role involves grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; replace cracked or broken window panes; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes 1+ years on the tools preferred.
