Immediate opening: mining dozer operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Pecos County, Texas. You will work at an open-cast mine. The role involves: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
