Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Dukes County, Massachusetts. The job is on a residential tower site. Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork You will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
