Great opportunity: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Pope County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
