CO2 welder • Madison County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Madison County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
