Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Ross County, Ohio. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
