Rigger — Kearney County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Kearney County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy construction site. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
