Render and set plasterer • Buchanan County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Buchanan County, Missouri. The job is at a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Six days a week, one day off.
