Escalator technician — Roberts County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Roberts County, South Dakota. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
