Excavator operator — Butler County

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Butler County, Iowa. The job is at a road and highway construction project. You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
