Trainee butcher — Malam Maduri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Malam Maduri, Jigawa State. On the job you will handle: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
