We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Murray County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
