Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in McCulloch County, Texas. The job is on a commercial construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
