Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in McLean County, Kentucky. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Full-time with occasional weekends.
