Urgent requirement: argon welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Kerr County, Texas. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
