Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
