Foundry operative wanted in Windham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Windham County, Vermont. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
