Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Gray County, Kansas. The job is at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Your main tasks: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Rotating shifts.
