Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
