CNC milling operator — Webster Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Webster Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
