Lathe operator — Reading

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Reading, England. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
