Die-casting operator • Parker County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Parker County, Texas. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
