Crane operator — Davidson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Davidson County, North Carolina. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
