Cold store insulation technician — Monterey County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Monterey County, California. You will be based on a construction site. Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing On the job you will handle: • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
