Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Pierce County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
