Render and set plasterer — Mobile County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Mobile County, Alabama. You will be based in a refurbishment property. The role involves: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Check walls for plumb and level as you go What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
