Wet plasterer — Christian County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Christian County, Illinois. The job is at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster Requirements: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
