Flatlock machine operator — Wolfe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Wolfe County, Kentucky. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
