Press operator wanted in Bradford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. You will work on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
