Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Wilson County, North Carolina. You will work in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Your main tasks: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure 4+ years on the tools preferred.
