We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Fairfield County, Ohio. You will work in a supermarket meat department. The role involves: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
