Presser — Codington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Codington County, South Dakota. You will work in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing.
