Industrial sewing operator — Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Lincoln County, Montana. The job is at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
