What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
