Blocklayer — Douglas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Douglas County, Washington. You will work at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder.
