Overlocker operator • Takai, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Takai, Kano State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
