Restoration bricklayer — Porter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Porter County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge 1+ years on the tools preferred.
