Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Grayson County, Texas. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
